Deutsche Bahn AG has been using a new version of the elevated GRP cable duct system CABSYS Rail since 2021, which meets the company's increased requirements in terms of mechanical strength and fire protection. Together with our partner Exel Composites and in close cooperation with Deutsche Bahn AG, we have further developed the system which has been tried-and-tested for 20 years. We call this new generation CABSYS Rail NG.

Double-walled design

CABSYS Rail NG is fitted with double walls from below and from the sides.

Mechanically even stronger

The double-walled design ensures even greater mechanical stability of the CABSYS Rail NG GRP cable duct system.

Quick and easy assembly

With CABSYS Rail NG, the cable duct cover is simply "clicked on". This is mechanically very stable and very quick to install – without a cordless screwdriver.

Increased fire protection

In the event of an embankment fire, the sensitive cables are very well protected against flames and heat thanks to the double-walled design of CABSYS Rail NG.
